Ambisense appointed to 4-year single-party framework by Caerphilly County Borough Council.

Following the recent conclusion of a competitive tender process , Ambisense is delighted to be appointed to a 4-year single party framework tender by Caerphilly County Borough Council to implement a Flood Warning and Remote Monitoring System at up to 238 sites across the Borough over the 4 years. The contract will be delivered primarily using the PRAM technology platform, a mm-wave radar solution developed for flood and asset resilience.

Commenting on the deal, Mark Goodger – Principal Engineer (Lead Local Flood Authority) said: ‘we are delighted to have concluded the Flood Warning System Tender process and to have appointed Ambisense to partner with us over the next four years. We will commence immediately at a number of high priority locations and will then expand the deployment as required’

Ambisense CEO Stephen McNulty said: ‘PRAM was specifically designed as a low-cost, highly scalable solution to obtain real-time, critical condition intelligence from infrastructure assets under increasing pressure from issues like flooding and climate change – we are delighted to have secured this deal with Caerphilly Council and look forward to working with the team over the next 4-years’
