AmbiSense Launches MultifluX™

AmbiSense Launches MultifluX™

AmbiSense launched the world’s first online, continuous gas and flow monitoring device GasfluX™ in 2016. Now the instrument of choice for ground gas monitoring applications, AmbiSense is very proud to announce the release of the multi-level MultifluX™ module.

What is MultifluX™?

MultifluX™ is a multiplexor extension accessory for GasfluX™ designed to enable multiple discreet depths, zones & locations to be measured with a single device with all data available online, in real-time.

Advantages

  1. Rationalise/remove gas protection measures by identifying whether surface migration is from a gas source at depth or at what depth lateral migration is occurring.
  2. Reduces cost by monitoring multiple discreet depths, zones or adjacent locations through one central analyser.
  3. Improve quality & regulatory compliance by maximising the data density from high-risk boreholes

Monitoring Applications

MultifluX™ has been carefully designed to have many different applications including:

  • Multi-Level Wells (such as CMT);
  • Nested Wells;
  • Clustered Wells;
  • Under-Floor Voids

What can I measure?

The MultifluX™ module connects directly to GasfluX™ and can measure the same parameters (including emission flow-rate from multiple locations). MultifluX™ is also equipped with a 4-20mA and a Modbus connector to enable the integration of numerous other types of environmental instrumentation such as water level and water quality instrumentation.

With MultifluX™ you can monitor multiple depths & locations with a single device & access all of your data online in real-time.

Is it compatible with my Existing GasfluX™ Devices?

The Multiflux™ connects to the GasfluX™ device via the supplied I2C connector. These are now shipped as standard on the GasfluX™ device. If you are one of the earlier GasfluX customers, your device may not have an I2C connector fitted. If so we are happy to offer you a FREE upgrade upon ordering a MultifluX™ device. Please contact us to find out if your device is compatible and to arrange the upgrade.
