Solu-Blu™

The Solu-Blu™ series of instruments combine rugged design, ease of use and versatility, all in a single sensor package. The measurement of a gas dissolved in a liquid is facilitated by a semi-permeable membrane that allows gases to transfer from water into a gas head space where the measurement is made.

The Solu-Blu™ instruments are battery powered, designed for ‘in-borehole’, continuous deployment and can be connected to the GasfluX™ and Multiflux™ instruments to enable real-time monitoring of both dissolved and headspace gases or can be deployed independently from any location, feeding data directly to the Ambisense platform

dissolved CH4 probe

The Solu-Blu™ dissolved CH4 probe can be used for long-term continuous in-situ monitoring to provide dissolved methane data for applications such as groundwater baseline monitoring and laboratory fermentation studies.

The probe provides a fully temperature and pressure compensated. Flow-through and in-line adapters are also available for simple and effective industrial solutions.

The simple yet rugged sensor allows for the monitoring of methane in a range of environments and liquids. The probe is configured for multiple data output formats.

dissolved CO2 probe

The Solu-BluTM dissolved CO2 probe can be used for long-term continuous in-situ monitoring that provides reliable free dissolved carbon dioxide data. The probe provides a fully temperature and pressure compensated free dissolved CO2 and partial pressure of CO2, and user-input salinity values allow for automatic salinity correction. Flow-through and in-line adapters are also available for simple and effective industrial solutions.

total dissolved gas pressure probe

The Solu-BluTM total dissolved gas, TDG, probe can be used for long-term continuous in-situ monitoring that provides reliable dissolved gas pressure measurements. It provides accurate TDG pressure data and is designed for use in aquaculture, dam spillways, groundwater monitoring, and industrial applications.

Unlike other total gas pressure probes, the Solu-BluTM TDG is not affected by increasing hydrostatic pressure. It can be used in a range of liquids ranging from fresh- and salt-water to industrial fluids such as oil or hydraulic fluid.

The Solu-BluTM TDG probe is designed for long-term deployments with simple, stable and accurate results.
