We’re commercially active in brownfield redevelopments, waste management and oil & gas sectors.

This is an excellent opportunity in a fast moving and rapidly expanding IoT and environmental monitoring Irish company with an office in London, UK. A challenging and varied position that would allow the right candidate to get in at the ‘ground floor’ and directly affect the growth of the company as a whole. Open-mindedness, positivity, flexibility and adaptability would be key attributes in the role.

  • 3-4 years’ experience in instrumentation devices & their support/calibration
  • Minimum of degree in an electronics discipline
  • Excellent communications skills with fluent English
  • Excellent knowledge of high performance electronic systems and hands on experience in development and installation
  • Experience in dealing directly with customers/subcontractors in the field over on-site issues
  • Ability to communicate site feedback into continuous improvement/development cycle

software engineer – data visualisation

This is a key role in the development of the front-end & associated back-end of our online data portal, bringing the data to life with intuitive displays, user-friendly functionality & custom graphing/calculations to provide greater insight into the data. On the front-end, appealing design and ergonomical usability are crucial objectives; on the back-end, low latency response, database optimisation and the ability to integrate other parallel developments involving machine learning will be essential aspects to this role. The successful candidate will be joining a team of electronics/software/mechanical engineers, where they will be implementing new visualisation features as new hardware and analytics are developed.

  • Degree in software/computer engineering, data science or related field
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in design of data presentation/visualisation/user interfaces
  • Essential to have experience in UX/UI – software ergonomics, usability and interface design
  • Strong proficiency in web technologies (Javascript, PHP, CSS) & database mgmt (eg. MySQL)
  • Create, improve & use wireframes, prototypes, storyboards, style guides, user flows, and effectively communicate your interaction ideas using any of these methods

instrumentation design engineer

This is a key role for new product development in a rapidly growing company. It will comprise of the assessment of feasibility of sensors for a number of identified commercial opportunities with subsequent design, prototyping and testing of integrated systems. The successful candidate will be joining a team of electronics and software engineers, where specifically they would be contributing from the mechanical design perspective.

  • Degree in mechanical/mechatronics engineering or related field
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in sensor instrumentation design & development
  • Strong experience in project management, scope detailing and multitasking
  • Strong skills in design thinking, conceptualisation, prototyping and design for manufacture
  • Familiarity with sensors specification & integration
  • Highly proficient in 3D CAD packages, e.g. Solidworks
  • Experience in design and implementation of off-grid remote sensor instrumentation is very advantageous
